Southco Compact & Affordable Mini Cam Lock

The new line of Southco® CM Mini Cam Locks provides an attractive, economical alternative for applications with limited-space requirements. Similar to the standard CM line of cam locks, the mini cam locks offer key locking and wing actuation options, but in a compact design.

• Compact design – 21.5 mm (.85”) from top of lock plug face to tip of cam mounting screw, a 14.9 mm (.59”) flange diameter, and as little as 16.4 mm (.65”) from centerline to end of cam – is ideal for small or shallow enclosures

• Multiple key- and hand-actuated styles provide access control options ranging from simple closure to keylocking security
• Multiple body finishes provide options to match customer applications
• Availability of clockwise and anti-clockwise operating configurations ensures appropriate operation in right-hand or left-hand operating doors without cam “falling” open

Product Features

• Die-cast zinc housing and lock plug design, with brass lockplug wafers and nickel-plated brass keys
• Compact cam lock body accommodates panel thicknesses up to 7.5 mm (.3”)
• Cam locks are rated for an average ultimate load on the cam of up to 160 N (35 lbf)
• Straight and offset cam options satisfy multiple grip dimensions (the distance from the front of the door panel to the point of engagement) ranging from 9.7 mm (.38”) up to 21.3 mm (.84”)
• Latch bodies and cams are ordered separately
• Available in chrome or black powder-coated finishes

• Optional wing-style latch provides convenient hand-actuated opening
• Choice of key code options for managing controlled access
• Offset cams can be assembled forward or backward, to satisfy a wide range of grips
