Southco Tubular Key-Cam Lock for Enhanced Security
The new line of Southco® PT Tubular-Key Cam Locks represents Southco’s first offering using a high security pin tumbler lock design. These locks provide broad industry appeal as an affordable way to achieve more secure performance for cam lock applications in publicly accessible environments. Their tubular key design offers a greater number of key codes. The availability of hooked and standard cams (ordered separately) accommodates the option for sliding and swinging door applications.

- Five housing lengths accommodate maximum door panel thicknesses up to 28.9 mm (1.14”) thick with minimal protrusion behind door
- Housing and cam combinations satisfy grip dimensions – the dimension from the front of the door panel to the point of cam engagement – ranging from 6.4 mm (.250”) to 42.8 mm (1.687”)
- Average ultimate load on cam is 645N (145lbf)
- Die-cast zinc housing and driver are chrome plated
- Seven-pin tumbler lock
- Standard 90o cam rotation
- Cams are ordered separately to suit application needs, and install easily with provided mounting nuts and lockwashers
